I used to work in restaurant industry for more than 10 years. I started as a service crew and eventually became an Assistant Restaurant Manager/Officer-in-charge after many hardships and challenges. Basically, being a manager requires monitoring (one should be keen to details), decision making, speaking and listening, to mention some. I receive calls, do reports usually inventory, ordering, and cash flow. Hiring and training are also part of my responsibilities. Resolving customer complaints is one of the major critical tasks which, of course, requires persuasion and empathy in order to win customers back that I encountered. Most of the time, I use Microsoft office and internet research in accomplishing reports. I decided to leave behind working offline because I value my family dearly and I want to balance my family and work life. For so many years, accessibility and time have been a problem for me to do my duty as a wife and a mother. I certainly can do work with minimal supervision and a hardworking person. I have been unemployed for months now and I believe that i am all ready to be back to work as a virtual assistant or any position that I may qualify.
