I am a health researcher by profession. I love research because it stretches my mind and opens my mind to new ideas. But most importantly, I love research because it can change the world and make a difference in people's lives. As a researcher I have vast experience in data collection, entry and analysis, and reporting findings either in reports or policy briefs etc. I have experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.

I also love writing. I have extensive experience researching and writing digital content for publication on blogs or newsletters. I have experience as a scientific and technical writer. As a technical writer I have helped create user manuals and guidelines. This often requires interaction with relevant professionals to draw useful and relevant information. In my work, I also have experience preparing proposals to secure financial support from foundations, non-profit agencies etc. This often involves identifying potential funding sources and developing proposals that target the specific interests of the potential donors.

What makes me good in writing? I have an eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, strong research skills, excellent communication skills and editing. I am also adaptable where I vary my writing style to fit the purpose of the piece that I am working on.

I have fluent ability in English, native ability in Kiswahili and intermediate ability in French. I also have excellent communication, analytical and evaluation skills.
