I have years of experience in customer service and office management. I have been working in the trucking industry for over 4 years. While working for R&A Trucking I was responsible for making sure that the truck drivers followed all laws and regulations regarding truck transportation, such as Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. I worked as a dispatcher scheduling driver to make deliveries and pick up packages or shipments from customers. I communicated with customers to record details about shipments, arrange to pick up times and discuss any special handling issues. I also completed carrier set up packets. I was responsible for knowing the weather of all the drivers' locations in order to flag potential issues. I reviewed the drivers’ logs and maintained various records, such as those pertaining to dispatched calls, vehicle repair, freight bills, and arrival times. I maintained the billing system, generated invoices, and account statements, and performed account reconciliations. I kept track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, and invoices. I maintained all employee records and was responsible for paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing paychecks. I also paid vendors by scheduling payments and ensuring payment was received. Prior to working in the trucking industry, I worked for Employee Testing Service. While working for Employee Testing Services I worked as an accounts payable and receivable clerk. I also coordinated with employee representatives to structure quality Substance Abuse Programs and trained Drug Screen Collectors to be fully compliant with all guidelines outlined in 49 CFR Part 40. I provided quality drug and alcohol collection services for multiple Government and Private Industries. I worked as a Certified Phlebotomist and performed blood draws for the collection of specimens at health fairs for employers to be used in medical testing. I maintained strict safety precautions in the collection of hazardous bodily fluids and oversaw safe packaging and transportation of specimens to the laboratory testing facility. I also worked as a customer service representative ensuring all customers were properly assisted and their questions and concerns were addressed. I was responsible for solving any customer complaints and following up on any questions or concerns until the customer’s inquiry had been completely resolved.
