As a private employee for seven years, I have already experienced the worst of the worst. For the past seven years, I really learned so much because my job description at first was, "Documentation Assistant". This type of job needs you to be keen to details to avoid mistakes specially during lodgment of export documents as making errors can cause you a fine of P5, 000 per mistake. For four years, I have been so careful to the documents in order to make no mistakes before I was promoted to "Supervisor".

As a supervisor, still I have some workload that involves data entry or making export declaration but the work I have been dealing at that time was making export documents plus processing at Bureau of Customs. After years, that was my first time to be happy at my job because that job is related to my course. I have never felt so sad because of that but the most achievement I get when I was a supervisor is that, I experienced so much pressure dealing with the documents submitted to customs as well as dealing with the people there at BOC.

After two years, I was promoted as an Assistant Manager. This job is new to me, this new job description is not so related to my course but I accepted it wholeheartedly in order to learn. My job in this position is about computing the freights of our shipments bound outside the country, also this includes claims received from customers due to delays in arrival of fruits that result to decays of tha cargoes or they will file a claim for the reason that the documents is not the same with the actual received. I have also to monitor crates/pallets that will be arriving from outside the country that arrived in Philippines. This job also includes, data entry of all big companies including us to monitor the number or quantity of goods shipped outside the country. I have also encounter many jobs that I should not be the one to do but due to the absence of those personnel, I need to do that job very well.
