I am an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with over 20 years of expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadership. My background spans diverse industries, including financial services, consulting, and property, where I have consistently delivered results through robust financial oversight and strategic business support.

My career began with Deloitte, where I developed a strong foundation in audit, financial reporting, and compliance. Since then, I have held senior finance positions such as Financial Manager, Financial Controller, and Operations Lead, where I’ve successfully overseen the full finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, statutory compliance, and team leadership.

I am passionate about using financial insight to influence strategy. My approach is analytical and commercially focused—ensuring that decision-makers have the timely, accurate information they need to drive profitability and performance. I have led projects to streamline reporting processes, improve internal controls, and drive working capital efficiencies. These initiatives have resulted in measurable cost savings, improved cash flow, and stronger financial governance.

My qualifications include CA(SA) , and I have extensive experience working in both local and international environments. This includes handling multi-currency operations, SEPA/SWIFT payment environments, and consolidations under IFRS. I am comfortable working in high-compliance environments and have managed successful audits, tax reviews, and due diligence exercises.

I am also technology-savvy, with hands-on experience in ERP systems, cloud-based finance tools, and Excel-based financial modelling. I have often taken the lead in finance transformation initiatives, from chart of accounts re-engineering to the implementation of performance dashboards and automated reporting.

I am now seeking a new opportunity as a Financial Manager or Financial Controller where I can apply my skills in leadership, financial control, and business support to help a company scale or optimise operations. I’m especially interested in growth-focused businesses, whether startups or established firms entering new markets.
