Andrés De La Torre Meade

Chemical engineer with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry. I have worked in multiple areas which made me a multidisciplinary engineer. I know how to do demand, production and materials planning at once. I have learned how a purchases team work, how sales, logistics and supply chain work and how mostly organizational processes are done. That is why I have a global mindset and I like to see the big picture in mostly of the organizational challenges that we can face.

I am a highly motivated person with a continous improvement midnset who likes to take new challenges and risks to improve myself and reach higher goals. 

My skills are team work, proactive, effective communication, creative and innovative mindset, detail focused, conflict resolution, risk management, data analysis and interpretation, I am a self-taught person and a team player.

Since my last job I have learned Visual Basic, SQL, Python, Power BI, new skills for processes management and currently I am working on my own handmade soaps business because I am always looking to grow and overcome myself.

My new goals are to grow my business and apply my process management knowledge and my Power BI course in new areas such as finance and marketing to get real experience.

I want my career to take a 180° turn and be much more than a chemical engineer.
