I have worked for roughly around 4 years in the BPO industry here in the Philippines. My most recent job prior to freelancing was with a major bank in the US as a customer support specialist. My main task was to balance out their account. Check for unauthorized transactions and resolve their online login issues. Prior to that I worked with a credit card company in the US. I was a collections specialist. I mainly collect payments. Resolve accounts that has a hold and override their spending limit. I also worked with a US SATELLITE TV provider as a retention specialist, customer service specialist and technical support specialist. My main task was with the retention side. We needed to save customers from cancelling or switching providers. Sell the service to them. Show the benefits of having a satellite TV. I also do a little billing support and technical assistance if they are having issues with their programming or reception.
