I have an excellent academic knowledge, as well as a varied hands on experience of the fashion, design and retail industry. I am a graduate from the London College of Fashion. I studied fashion design and illustration, as well as styling and fashion photography extensively. I have a dynamic and creative flair for marketing, design, and sales, with a commercial eye for detail and trends, excellent research, meticulous organisational and creative skills.
I recently set up my own Virtual Assistant Digital Media & Marketing agency.
I recently completed a project working with a PR agency looking after their luxury fashion clients’ social media accounts. This involved creating marketing strategy and plans, creating engaging and creative content, and reports using google analytics.
Previously I worked as a swimwear designer overseeing labels such as Roxy, Matalan and Billabong.
I also gained buying experience at Harvey Nichols buying office; and I also worked at major fashion and accessories import / wholesale companies as account manager, product developer / as well as brand manager (supplying the high st). These roles involved liaising with overseas factories, and buyers on a daily basis, presenting collections, collating mood boards, comp shopping, analysing sales reports, processing orders, managing critical paths, as well as liaising with the QC and sales teams. What I most enjoyed was developing my own ranges, as well as sourcing and negotiating. I have strong admin/IT and retouching skills (incl. Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD, PageMaker, Excel, Word etc.)
