I have with a wide variety of background and experience when it comes to work. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing but I do not just do jobs that related to my field. I always take the opportunity to work beyond my experience. I am always eager to learn something new if given the chance and I believe in the saying that life is a continuous learning process.
Work experience:
1. Front Desk Clerk/Housekeeping Staff: Some days I am assigned as a receptionist, some days assigned in the housekeeping department.
2. Market Researcher/Call Center Agent - outbound calls: Calling people to get their political views, opinions on a certain product or services depending on the client.
3. File Traffic Controller: Talks to the client about the workload for the day and assign jobs to our transcribers.
4. Medical Transcriptionist full time and a freelancer General Transcriptionist: Transcribing doctor reports, interviews, forums, meetings, also legal transcriptions. I have been in this field for almost 7 years now.
5. Data Operations Annotator: We do web research similar to lead generation and data entry on this kind of job.
In my work, I use MS Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, MS Excel, Excel to CSV, Dropbox, and Microsoft PowerPoint. I also learned how to use transcription platforms that my clients want me to use such as Wordscript and EScription, also Express Scribe if they do not have platforms available. I use Gmail, Hangouts, Skype, Zoom, and Ryver to reach out to my clients or sometimes Team Viewer if they want to install a platform they prefer.
