Ana Maricon landed her first job as Accounting Assistant in retail industry way back 2010 where she specializes in sales audit, collection of receivables and ensuring the correctness of daily sales for financial reporting using a legacy system. She handled two companies at this time wherein one unit maintained and recorded transactions through manual books. She also successfully migrated the company's manual books to Oracle Financials, which challenged her with the set-up of beginning balances. With this challenges present, she still able to manage the team of sales auditors and prepared tax reporting (VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax Return) for the two companies. The company. in return, promoted her to Assistant Manager in 2019.
The group of companies decided to switch to a shared services set-up of the accounting department wherein she now handles 10 companies. She is the acting manager of the team specializing in sales audit. She ensures that selling procedures and controls are properly implemented, and sales posted in the system are accurate and complete. She provide monthly reports to business partners to help them in the decision making.
She is now planning on switching to freelancing where work from home set-up is her preferred job due to the current situation of pandemic. She is a fast-learner and can work with minimal supervision. She is hoping that you will find her qualification can be of help to your company.
