With a strong academic foundation, including a Master's degree in Finance and Investment from Queen Mary College, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Birmingham, she has honed her expertise through roles in leading global companies and multinational projects.
Amy is currently a Managing Partner at Simalac Tech Capital, where she oversees team and portfolio management, guiding the firm’s investments in the deep technology and semiconductor sectors. Under her leadership, Simalac has achieved multiple successful investment exits while navigating complex financial and regulatory environments. Her ability to manage risk and protect investor interests has been pivotal to the company's sustained success, even under challenging circumstances.
Previously, Amy served as Vice President of Asset Management and Group CFO at Tsinghua Unigroup, one of China’s largest technology conglomerates. She was responsible for managing assets totaling RMB 300 billion, analysing international policy, securing equity financing for subsidiaries during holding company’s liquidity crisis, and driving strategic international collaborations. Her leadership extended to overseeing multi-billion euro M&A projects, collaborations with major global tech companies, and financial restructuring, showcasing her ability to manage complex, high-stakes transactions.
Her earlier roles included serving as Vice Finance Controller for China Everbright International, a Singapore-listed company, where she led financial reporting, audit, and budgeting functions. Additionally, her audit and advisory experience at KPMG LLP and Moore Stephens International in Singapore provided a strong foundation in financial compliance and project management, especially in handling group audits and China-based projects.
