PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Kohl's is upgrading its PeopleSoft Financials application from version 8.0 SP2 to version 9.1. As part of the upgrade, Kohl's also plans to move away from current Mainframe / DB2 database platform into Unix / Oracle database platform. As a part of this upgrade, Kohl's has decided to upgrade the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable and Billing modules and to re-implement the Asset Management and Project Costing modules. Currently Kohl's does not archive any data from the PeopleSoft application. This has resulted in huge volumes of data residing in Production tables, which is one of the causes for application performance issues. Kohl's plans to use this opportunity of application upgrade to initiate data archival. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Fiesta Restaurant Group was recently spun off from Carrols Corporation. Partner with Fiesta to build its own PeopleSoft environment (v9.1 on Oracle 11g) in the hosted Rackspace data center and lead the process of migrating the data, systems and interfaces out of Carrols. Retrofit reports (SQR, nVision, Crystal) for Fiesta specific changes as necessary PeopleSoft security configurations will be setup by Cognizant as per policies recommended by Fiesta Security team and inputs from Fiesta SMEs. Convert Master data & 3 years of historical transaction data provided in required format from parent system into newly created Fiesta FMS system PS FSCM 9.1 Reconfigure the workflows for Fiesta specific processing.
