WORK EXPERIENCE
Projects Abroad - Field Coordinator
2016 June – 2016 August
Following a set itinerary that involved controlling foreigners from various
countries to make an educational impact in underprivileged areas of
Sri Lanka
Controlled budgets that were allocated for spending on group
expenses.
Managed a team of local staff to ensure the work of the organization
was met according to goals set forward by the UN and Projects
Abroad respectively.
Provided emotional and professional support to the volunteers who
were working in the specific projects that were part of a planned
program during the summer.

2016 August – 2019
Organized and presented care and teaching related workshops to
volunteers who took part in the specific project.
Controlled and supervised the logistical, financial and managerial part
of having more than 10+ groups that were mainly from Europe.
Developed and sustained social media platforms for Projects Abroad
i.e Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook.
Created Budgets and itineraries for groups that were to come and take
part in Projects in Sri Lanka.
Worked accordingly to sustain the implementation and planning of
Projects that coincided with the UNSDG’s to help create a bigger
impact to local communities within Sri Lanka.
Marketed Projects Abroad achievements that were made as an
organization via live video feeds that were done though Snapchat,
Instagram and Facebook.
Planned and budgeted the donations of materials and programmes
conducted in underdeveloped areas.
Planned social and outreach programmes that incorporated man
power to give back to society such as, hygiene awareness
programmes, renovation, beach clean ups, awareness programmes
that led to the betterment of rural communities.
Networked with hotels, drivers, host families, various schools to make
sure the initiative of Projects Abroad Sri Lanka was carried out in
meaningful and worthwhile ways respectively.

2019 – 2020 April
Created Itineraries that were streamlined to specific projects within Sri
Lanka, Mexico, Fiji, Nepal, Tanzania and Thailand for Specific Groups.
Managed staff in various areas to make sure the implementation of the
High School Specials project was carried out successfully.
Created budgets and oversaw the expenses of these budgets by
fellow staff members on groups that came to Sri Lanka.
Created specific goal related tasks that were meant to be executed
over a period of time.
Worked and updated CMS related systems to update Projects
Abroad’s main websites.
Trained volunteers though workshops to implement the impact of Early
Childhood development related tasks in placements.
Spoke at a United Nations event on behalf of Projects Abroad,
streamlining the impact of the organization in the local community.
