I run my own design and print business, helping professional creatives and crafters to
get beautiful but affordable design. I specialise in WordPress website design but also
offer branding and print design.
I am experienced in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Photoshop, InDesign and
Illustrator, and use these programs for all of my projects.
I also write a bi-weekly blog about business and design, send a monthly newsletter to an
ever-growing email list, design printable business resources that I sell via Etsy, have a
growing social media following on Facebook and Instagram and have written an ebook.

Upon completing a marketing apprenticeship at Ginger Nut Media, I was hired as a full
time employee.
My role at Ginger Nut Media became more design focused and I was part of a small
team consisting of 2 designers, including myself, and 3 developers. I co-managed this
team alongside the senior designer and together we were growing the design side of the
company.
Ginger Nut Media is an email advertising company so my main responsibility was
creating email designs for clients such as RSPB, The National Trust, The Times,
TalkTalk, Thorntons and The Economist as well as many smaller clients.
In addition to email design, I occasionally had the opportunity to work on web design and
print design projects as well as some branding projects.

I began working at Ginger Nut Media as an apprentice but was hired as a full time
employee upon completing the course in November 2013.
From the start I was working with large brands including The National Trust, TalkTalk and
ScottishPower, designing and coding their email creatives and also managing their email
advertising campaigns.
My role at Ginger Nut Media during this time involved managing advertising campaigns
and design work as well as admin and PR. During my apprenticeship, my skills
developed significantly including personal qualities such as confidence and the ability to
accept and improve on constructive criticism.
