Amanda Ribeiro

I'm Amanda, I'm from Brazil and I live in Sydney. I've been working as a Portuguese and English teacher for over 20 years. I studied Letras at UFMG and I have a post graduation course in translation. As a teacher, I worked in public schools, preparing students for the Brazilian national exam which students attend after high school, and also, in private ESL courses, focused on conversation classes. In Sydney, I worked as a Portuguese teacher as well. As a language lover, I've been dedicating myself to be a teacher, and also a translator of excellence. One of my best performances as a Portuguese/English translator took place in the Belo Horizonte tourist guide book, giving the most remarkable and best described impressions of the city, filled with fidelity and accuracy. And my teaching career reached its brighter moment when I made part of the Pronatec project, designed to teach the airport staff, during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
