I’m Alviar Jus L. Sarmiento, and my career has been shaped by my diverse experience working with both local and international teams, alongside my strong track record of achieving results across various industries. With a degree in Communication Arts from De La Salle University, I’ve honed my skills in leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building, and I pride myself on my ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic, multicultural environments.

One of the key highlights of my career is my role as an Outsourced Marketing / Writing / Social Media Consultant for Post Court Graphics in Dubai, UAE. During my time in Dubai, I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with foreign clients, including Platform Health Club, helping them enhance their brand visibility through tailored marketing strategies and social media campaigns. Working in a diverse, international setting gave me invaluable experience in navigating different cultural dynamics while delivering high-impact results. This experience sharpened my ability to understand and meet the unique needs of clients from varied backgrounds and industries, all while boosting their engagement and online presence.

In my current role as Operations Manager for Content Protection at Athletia Sports, I continue to work with both local and international teams, managing the protection of digital content across social media platforms. My ability to bridge communication and coordinate efforts with global teams ensures seamless operations, especially when addressing complex issues related to digital piracy and unauthorized access. I’ve been successful in implementing security protocols and conducting audits to safeguard our content, all while managing cross-functional relationships to stay ahead of emerging threats.

I’ve also had the privilege of working with international partners while co-founding Juan Busko, an interschool alumni basketball league that brings together alumni from Don Bosco schools across the Philippines. In this role, I’ve collaborated with foreign brands such as McDonald’s, Jollibee, Coca-Cola, and Wilson, securing strategic partnerships that have not only supported the league’s activities but have also enhanced the event experience for participants and sponsors alike.

Before these roles, I served as Provider Network Specialist at Generali Life Assurance Philippines, where I worked with an extensive network of healthcare providers nationwide. Although primarily local, the role also required me to interact with foreign counterparts, particularly when negotiating contracts and resolving issues to ensure optimal service delivery.

Throughout my career, I’ve built a strong reputation for delivering results, whether I’m managing international relationships, leading projects, or executing high-level strategies. My ability to collaborate across cultures and my consistent track record of success have been key drivers in every role I’ve taken on.
