Work Experience October 2020 – To date Data Scientist – Microsoft Engineering Center –Techno Brain Group (Nairobi, Kenya) Part of the Windows privacy team, I was engaged in getting insights from the customer listening system and reporting the insights to Microsoft’s leadership for actionable work items. Implemented a behavioral-based anomaly detection for the customer listening system using Azure Anomaly detector and visualized the anomalies in Power BI. Applied Sentiment analysis on social media data, 3rd party data, Windows 10 feedback data, privacy settings data and documentation data to try and understand what people are talking about Windows privacy, specifically in the context of privacy for Windows Operating system, track all settings to try and understand if there is a change in adoption. Designed and developed Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize Win10 Device setting state, Privacy Document usage across commercial and consumer space. Developed a compliance reporting solution using Power BI that enabled the privacy team to monitor accesses to data stored in Cosmos (Microsoft’s internal Big data platform). Developed dashboards that implement advanced analytical and statistical methods and delivered visually intuitive results to a large and broad user base leveraging tools such as KPI, line charts etc. through user selectable containers. Elevated effectiveness of dashboards by working directly with users to easily visualize trends, exceptions, and business boundary constraints. Developed and maintained multiple robust and high-performance data processing pipeline within Azure ecosystem.   Perform data de-dupe using Cosmos – scope in Azure Data Lake Storage (Converged VC) through ADF V2 Scope script activity. Maintained and developed Azure Data Factory Pipeline to process Microsoft telemetry device’s data in Azure Data Lake Cosmos.
