Work Experience
May 2020 – Present : Senior Data Engineer,
Afiniti, Lahore.
Working as a Senior Data Engineer in the Data Analytics team at Afiniti. Carrying out
responsibilities of leading a client account from ETL side. Implementing ETL solutions and
maintaining the ETL job to ensure smooth availability of data for the product and optimization of
the processes. Fulfilling data requirements for the AI team to develop best suitable models for the
client. Developing efficient and fast ETL solutions for the new requirements to enhance the
performance of the overall business process and interpret complex data for resolving data issues.
March 2014 – April 2020: Principal Software Engineer, NETSOL Financial Suite,
NETSOL Technologies, Lahore.
Worked as a core member of the Data Migration team for multiple international projects in Auto
Finance industry. Implemented ETL solutions onsite in China and Thailand for big finance
companies and ensured smooth functionality of the delivered products after successful deliveries.
Travelled onsite for long term engagements to ensure optimized, efficient and complete migration
of customer’s database to the NETSOL’s Ascent product. Coordinated with business experts to
identify, collate and define the migration activities to comply with the application. Worked in

Worked as the Lead for development of the Master data part of the ETL solutions, carrying

Designing of the project documents in the analysis phase while going through GAP
analysis for customer’s business requirements.
Finalizing the staging database for the customer data and providing workshop for the
client to understand the database schema.
Analyzing the customer legacy data for mapping it to the staging database and
