I am writing to apply for the position of System Engineer as currently advertised on Seek website. My Systems Engineering skills acquired through undertaking several Robotic, AI and IoT projects around Australia since my graduation, combined with my knowledge of electrical/electronic engineering and programming, gained from my Master of Electronic Engineering courses at University of Wollongong, are particularly relevant to this position.

Being able to learn, develop and apply emerging technologies to create a positive impact on people’s daily life have always been my passion. I am extremely impressed by the innovative technologies that your company offers to improve people’s life. I am currently working as a Systems Engineer and R&D team member at Lamson Concepts, and see this opening as an excellent next step that would allow me to build on prior engineering experience, and being part of a team that is committed to lifelong learning and innovation to achieve success in a client facing business.

I possess a strong background in Systems Engineering through my professional experience at Lamson Concepts Company which provides hospital automation solutions including Robotic Delivery Systems and Pneumatic Tube Systems along with RFID and IoT solutions. As a Systems Engineer, I was responsible for implementing AMR (self-driving robots) projects at aged care facilities to autonomously deliver meals for the residents, collect their waste and linen in a multi-story building; these projects were including system integration between several technologies including Omron Robots, Lift Controller, PLC controllers, Automatic Door Controller, iPads and two different servers across the site. As a part of the R&D team also I was involved in several projects including using BlueBotics Mobile Robot controller to build a self-driving robot, using HID (BLE Beacon and Blufi technology) location services technology to track the location and count the number of hospital beds at each level, integrating IP camera with Omron AMR robots. I am also experienced as a Field Service Engineer regarding Pneumatic Tube Systems (PTS); I have gained this skill from my previous company, Aircom Group, where I was responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance and programming of Sydney and Illawarra hospital PTS systems. Additionally, I have been providing continuous technical after hours remote and on-site support for both our robotics and PTS systems installed in different sites around Australia.

Based on my performance and ability to establish effective working relationships with the suppliers, I had the opportunity to attend technical training in South Korea from Yujin Robot company as technical specialist, to further expand my skills in software and hardware troubleshooting, as well as programming of an advanced AGV robot (GoCart160). In addition to my technical experience, this role has allowed me to develop excellent communication and leadership skills to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from healthcare professionals, sales managers, to engineers.
