PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
MCKINSEY & CO.
Consultant (External)
Jun 2016 – Present
I am currently working with Punjab Education Sector Reforms Project (PESP2), jointly implemented by McKinsey
& Co and Adam Smith International and funded by the Department for International Development (DFID), UK.
Under the political ownership of the Chief Minister of Punjab and intellectual support by Sir Michael Barber,
PESP2 aims to transform the largest education system in the world comprising 50,000 schools, 350,000 teachers
and more than 12 million students to bring more children in school, who stay longer and learn more.
Currently, I am leading the Assessments work-stream, in which I manage the complete process of sample
based 6 monthly assessments in all Government and PEF schools. Previously, I led District transformation
and Governance work-stream in which, I have strengthened the role and restructured the routines of
education managers that has resulted in the improvement of key performance indicators. I have established
Secretary’s Delivery unit (SDU) that followed-up with associated departments and districts to keep the
Secretary informed about the progress on various initiatives.
