Ali is one of Canada's Top Developers 30 Under 30, and 7x hackathon award winner out of Toronto. He started his career working for Canada's largest bank, RBC in product innovation. Two years later, he left to start his first company (Prep - motivated learning) and sold it to a private angel group. Shortly after the sale, he joined a prestigious accelerator called Next 36 out of Toronto to start 

Recently appointed Vice Chair, and previously a technical advisor to the AI Hub at Durham College in Toronto, where he is helping to set the direction of the college's applied AI research lab.

Currently he is freelancing software development for enterprises and startups while travelling around the globe.

Overall, he's held roles in product, engineering, and management, and finds myself at the intersection of business and technology. He has been involved in the full cycle development of many web and mobile apps over the past few years.
