My name is Alfred Sei, a passionate and versatile communications professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Daystar University, Nairobi. Over the years, I have built a diverse skill set in broadcast journalism, digital marketing, multimedia production, and project management, allowing me to craft compelling stories, engage audiences, and drive impactful content strategies.

My journey in media began as a Radio Producer at Juice Wave Radio, where I produced and hosted daily shows, conducted interviews, wrote scripts, and edited audio content. I also managed the station’s social media presence and collaborated with advertisers to create promotional campaigns. This experience sharpened my technical skills in audio production, storytelling, and audience engagement.

Transitioning into Digital Marketing, I worked with Discop and Windsor Media, where I managed social media campaigns, optimized SEO strategies, and executed email marketing initiatives that boosted brand visibility and customer retention. My ability to create visually and audibly engaging content—using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, and Descript—helped brands like Domino Revolution strengthen their online presence.

As a Broadcast Journalist at Hope TV/Media, I honed my skills in TV and radio reporting, scriptwriting, and video editing while working under tight deadlines in high-pressure environments. My role also involved geolocation, digital archiving, and fact-checking, ensuring accuracy and ethical standards in news production. Additionally, my proficiency in data visualization and cartography (QGIS, Google Earth) allows me to present complex information in accessible, visually compelling formats.

Currently, I serve as a Journalist/Curator for Global Energy Market News, where I research, analyze, and present energy-related stories, combining my editorial expertise with digital storytelling techniques.
