Alexandra Bobak

I’m a strategic consultant and public-sector leader with over a decade of experience designing and delivering complex, high-impact programs across federal, state, and local governments in the U.S. and internationally. My work sits at the intersection of policy, infrastructure, and implementation turning ambitious public goals into programs that actually work on the ground.

Throughout my career, I’ve led multi-disciplinary teams and managed initiatives ranging from community-based outreach efforts to multi-billion-dollar federal grant programs. Most recently, as a Managing Consultant at Guidehouse, I’ve supported states in designing and operationalizing large-scale investments in broadband, digital equity, housing stability, and energy affordability. I specialize in building the “how” behind policy: program design, compliance and risk frameworks, budgets, stakeholder engagement strategies, and operational playbooks that stand up under real-world pressure.

Before consulting, I worked inside local government in Washington, DC, serving as Deputy Director of Constituent Services for a City Council office. That experience grounded my work in the realities residents face every day — housing instability, public safety concerns, and access to essential services — and sharpened my ability to navigate complex political environments while delivering results. I’ve handled hundreds of constituent cases annually, helped draft legislation, and supported budget negotiations, all while maintaining a strong connection to community voices.

Internationally, I’ve worked in Peru and the UK on long-term planning, foresight, and resilience initiatives, collaborating with national governments, multilateral organizations, and NGOs. These experiences strengthened my ability to work across cultures, align diverse stakeholders, and design policy solutions that are both data-driven and locally relevant.

Across roles, I’m known for being a calm, solutions-oriented leader who can zoom out strategically while staying deeply engaged in execution. I bring a mix of analytical rigor, political awareness, and practical program management — and I care deeply about public impact.
