I recently graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and am looking to start my illustration career. I have taken classes in illustration, design, and literature that have developed me into a skilled illustrator.
I have illustrated and self published a forest animals coloring book.
I am currently working with Weber State’s College of Health Professions as a medical illustrator to update diagrams for their open resource textbooks. I work closely with the Health Science Department to ensure accuracy.
I recently self published my first children’s picture book on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. I came up with the idea, drew the pictures, and published the book on my own in three months. The book consists of 36 full color pages which include 16 spreads, two maps, a title page, and a seek-and-find page.
I am organized, detail oriented, and reliable. I am a team player, constantly looking for ways that I can help others. I always put my whole self into everything I do. I am a great listener and I enjoy learning.
I love animals, gardening, puzzles, and making art. I love the idea of illustration creating an enjoyable experience for a child that can encourage lifelong learning and a love of books, or just bringing a smile to someone’s face.
