Located in Surabaya, it has 35 units of school, from Playgroup/Kindergarten to Senior/Vocational High School, spreads in Surabaya and Sidoarjo area. It has more than 12,000 students and around 1,300 employees. Together with Yayasan Perguruan Tinggi Kristen (YPTK) Petra, PPPK Petra founded PPPK Petra Employer Pension Fund (EPF). In 2019, PPPK Petra EPF converted from Defined Benefit Pension Plan (DBPP) to Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP). PPPK Petra EPF has more than 1,700 members, consists of employees from PPPK Petra and YPTK Petra. I have been working in various positions, such as (chronological): Feb. 1999—Dec. 2000 I started from the Head of Finance Department. As the Head, I was responsible for finance and accounting activities, including budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and taxation. I supervised around 10 employees. During this tenure, I managed the change from old-style accounting system to modern one, by making new standard of procedures and started tax planning for development fund. Jan. 2001—Dec. 2005 As the organization developed and became more professional, the top management splitted into three directorates: Education, Human Resources/General Affairs, and Finance. I was appointed as Vice Director of Finance. At that time, there was no Executive Director, and all final decisions was made by Vice Director, and they reported to the Board of Trustees collectively. During this tenure, I managed the change from manual accounting system to computerized one. I set more professional accountability system and applied computerized budgeting system. I also appointed as the chairman of organizational development steering committee, which founded in order to create more professional organization. Apr. 2003—Apr. 2009 I was appointed as the EPF Supervisory Board. I pushed EPF to comply all regulations, and pushed to increase income by founding a business, which was realized in PT Petra Togamas Sejahtera, prepared the feasibility studies, and even setting the system. Jan. 2006—Oct. 2015 In order to make a slim-operational organization, it came to the decision that the directorate should split into two directorates: Education and Education Supporting Services. I was appointed as Director of Education Supporting Services, which covers three majors divisions: Human Resources/Legal/Administration, Logistic/Maintenance/ General Affairs, Finance/Accounting, and also three subdirectorates: Asset Management, Information Technology, and Organizational Development. During this tenure, I made the new system of recruiting, creating promotion and mutation system, new remuneration structure, computer-based procurement system, and the new way in calculating cost to set school tuition fee. I also created a full computerized accounting and budgeting systems. In terms of cooperation, I developed a large scale network with many vendors. During this tenure, I also caught many fraudsters. It was because of internal control system that I created within the organization. In the same time, the secretariate office was splitted into two, and I assumed the Head of ESS Secretariate Office, which directly covered 60—70 employees. Jul. 2009—Jun. 2010 Organizational development required an internal audit division. I was appointed as Chief Audit Executive with the mission in developing internal audit division. Later, this division was merged to ESS Directorate, as integral part of operation. Oct. 2015—Dec. 2016 Once again, considering the change in organization circumstances, ESS Directorate was splitted into three Directorates: Human Resources, Logistic and Maintenance, and Finance. I was appointed as Senior Director of Finance. During this time, PPPK Petra had an Executive Director. Jan. 2017—May 2019 Considering the economic challenge, the Board of Trustees wanted to convert DBPP into DCPP. The funding of running DCPP was more realistic to achieve. I was the most senior officer who understand the whole EPF operations. So, I was appointed as the Assistant to the EPF Board of Trustees. However, the way of converting into DCPP was not easy. PPPK Petra EPF faced problems with Financial Service Authority as regulator and retired members. It spent more than twenty months to secure the change. I prepared many legal things, dealt with protester, prepared data and calculation, and I worked almost alone since that time PPPK Petra EPF had only four employees, which one of them caught fraud (investigated by me), and two of them was almost retired. Finally, the changes were made. May 2019—Dec. 2020 This time, PPPK Petra EPF started a new era of DCPP. The organization structure was formed, and I was placed in General Manager position, which was responsible for investment, risk management, finance and accounting, information system, membership, and compliance. Under my leadership, PPPK Petra EPF reached return on investment that was higher than before. In 2020, during pandemic situation, PPPK Petra was able to reach highest ROI for the last ten years. Jan. 2021—now During the competency certication and based on the newer regulation, the operation function should split from the risk management and compliance function. So, this beginning of year, I was appointed as Governance, Risk, and Compliance Officer. 2007—now PT Petra Togamas Sejahtera PT Petra Togamas Sejahtera (PTS) is a retail and bookstore, subsiadiary of PPPK Petra EPF. PPPK Petra EPF has 70% of interests, but as financial institution, PPPK Petra EPF doesn’t consolidate PTS to its financial statements. I was appointed as Chief Financial Officer, and be responsible to all finance/accounting activities, as well as development. During this tenure, I made decision to open branch store at University of Surabaya to boost the cooperation between two instutions. 2009—2010 PT Revka Petra Media PT Revka Petra Media (RPM) was a printing and publishing company, a subsidiary of PTS. PTS had 33,33% interest in RPM. I worked as Chief Executive Officer, and supervising all operation functions. 2010—2014 CV Paramarta Aksaka CV Paramarta Aksaka (PA) was a publishing company.
