I am food engineer and specialist in management systems, have had
experience in management of sanitation and cleaning programs for
a food facility in Colombia, that exports around the world which
has allowed me to work with the best food safety standards, and
knowledge, I have also experience in quality control for food
companies, internal audit, and people management.
I love learning and assuming any new challenge that comes to my

Massive food production company that makes guacamole and Hass
avocado products to export from Colombia to the global, includes
USA, the company annually certificates in safety system programs
like SQF 9 and BRC 8, also in identity preservation food certificates
like Kosher, Halal, Organic.
My role in this facility is to manage all the sanitation and cleaning
program, in order to preserve safety in all steps, so as it is, I am in
charge of the cleaning after production, also cleaning indoor areas
and wellness areas, and finally as part of the sanitation, being in
charge of all waste and pest control.
Internal audit with the different programs of the safety and quality
system.
I manage negotiation with providers, to keep and maintain the
supplies, get better prices and benefits, as needed.
In other main tasks are to be in charge of personnel, planning
monthly the activities, keeping indicators, and work in continue
improvement.

September 2017 – February 2019.
I did work on quality process at IMC, in Medellin City for one of
their business lines, massive restaurants located in malls or main
streets of the city, part of my job was to make sure they did work
under the laws and regulations that are required by National Food
Inspection named INVIMA.
Internal monthly audits on the restaurants as an evaluation of the
quality system, and external audits to providers in order to evaluate
their good manufacturing practices.
I did internal inspections to make sure everything was ok, and in
case is not, I needed to move fast and find the properly solution for
the specific situation, I also visited their food providers to make
sure every raw material was doing well and under the law. I also did
help on validating new products or raw material that get into the
company, and writing up manual, or documents that were
necessarily at the quality process.
QUALITY CONSULTANT AT CORDILLERA FARMS,

June 2017 – August 2017.
I was a quality consultant at this Chocolate Factory for two months;
I help them to build up all the documents and programs required
for law and regulations, for the National Inspection department
INVIMA.
I also helped them out to contact different providers of cacao
beans, around the country and building a document with specific
requirements to demand to the raw material providers.

September 2016 – June 2017.
I was customer support advocate for Fitbit with some of their
trackers, I used to attend email and phone calls and give solutions
according people need, sometimes I had to troubleshoot damaged
trackers, other times helped people with their purchase, etc.

also improving processes, raw materials, or finding solutions for
specifically situations.

July 2015 – July 2016.
This was an intercultural exchange; it required me to move from
my home country Colombia to US, for taking care of the biggest
treasure for a family their children, so this all experience required
me to have a huge sense of responsibility.
I took care of the children; feed them, taught them new things,
played with them. I had also great experience by learning about a
new country and culture, and improving my English skills.
