Alejandra Amundarain

I am a Certified Public Accountant with a specialization in Business Management, focusing on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Executive Coaching and Leadership, accredited by the University of Barcelona.

My professional career has developed in three major corporations:

DELOITTE: I started my financial career as an external auditor, and had the opportunity to work with clients from various sectors, including Banking, Consumer Goods, and Telecommunications. I became a reference in auditing control processes when the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) was implemented for publicly traded companies.

DIRECTV (now AT&T): I began in Financial Planning, later took on the role of Head of Commercial Administration, and eventually became the National Sales Manager. The shift in my career toward the commercial area was mainly driven by my contributions to strategic decisions and proposals that significantly improved commercial results. At DIRECTV, I was a Master Trainer for Coaching and Leadership for the entire Venezuela operation. I was sent abroad for certification and had the responsibility of training leaders in this methodology.

EDENRED: I began in the Venezuela operation as Business Intelligence Manager and later in Mexico as Commercial Manager for the Southern region. For a couple of years, I was also responsible for the Northern region. In the first semester of this year, I led the workstream responsible for the technological migration of a product, which also led me to discover a new passion for leadership and project management. In 2023, I was selected as Mexico's representative to participate in TALENT WEEK in Paris, a global corporate event focused on innovation projects. The proposal from my team won first place at this event.

Work has always been an important part of my life. I enjoy being productive, innovating, and adding value. I focus on combining high performance and productivity with a balanced quality of life for myself and my family.
