My career as an analyst began in 2009, where I was tasked mainly with reports execution. Gradually the work grew in complexity and we were tasked with handling stakeholder requests, which usually entailed designing specific reports depending on function and location. I moved on in 2014 and the next chapter provided the opportunity to strengthen my querying capabilities, mainly in SQL. Most of my responsibilities then revolved around reports that were being used by the Sales teams. I was also fortunate enough to be able to receive Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training during my tenure with the organization, albeit not getting officially certified even as I left in 2022. My recent endeavor provided fresh challenges that made use of several skill sets that I have been building up in recent years. Primarily Power BI, SSIS, as well as brushing up on my DBMS experience.
