I love learning, currently focused on VR and decentralized technologies. I’ve started numerous side-projects
and launched 2 startups. I’ve also organized meetups and given talks at different events.
Work Experience and Projects:
➢ Founder at Simbol (September 2016 – Present) WebXR, JavaScript, Three.JS, WebRTC, IPFS
Solo founder building an identity system that is VR-first so people could seamlessly move around 3D
worlds and control their data.
➢ Front End Developer at Financial Times Labs (May 2014 – August 2016) HTML5, CSS, JavaScript

As part of the Origami (http://origami.ft.com) team, our goals were:
- Unifying the brand across FT products. I built accessible UI components used on all company
sites.
- Making web development faster. I built development and build tools used throughout the
company.
I advocated the benefits of our tools and engaged the company to collaborate on their development.
➢ Young Advisor to Neelie Kroes (February 2013 – November 2014)
Europe Code Week (August 2013 – November 2014)
Part of the Young Advisors Group advising the commissioner on education, advancing the European
tech sector and technology involvement.
We created Code Week, an initiative to promote coding throughout Europe. As the Ambassador of
Spain, I helped with website development, establishing relationships with companies, local authorities
and developer groups.
Code Week 2013 held +300 events. Code Week 2014 held +1500 events with the support of the
Commission, Google, Telefonica, Rovio, amongst others.
➢ Freelance developer (July 2011 – February 2014) HTML5, Node.JS, MongoDB, Java, PHP, Android
- Movilímetro, a website and an Android Application which recommends the user their ideal
mobile tariff based on how they use their phone.
- Project to push geolocalized ads from local businesses onto passing potential customers.
➢ Cofounder of Holalabs (August 2011 – April 2014) HTML5, Node.JS, Java, MongoDB, Android, C++
Cofounder of the first distributed desktop, holadesk; and a mobile development library, holaIO. I
developed the Android platform, the server side and contributed to the frontend.
➢ Work Experience at different startups in London (July 2011) HTML5, PHP, Drupal, Android
I spent the whole month with Duedil, rippll a
nd Appfly seeing how they worked, learning from their
developers and helping out building different tasks.
➢ Founder & Organizer of GDG Murcia (December 2010 – April 2014)
I organized around 20 events, including: hackathons, bootcamps with Startup Weekend and a Devfest.
We were the biggest developer group in the region with hundreds of total attendees..
Misc:
➢ I grew up in England, so I’m bilingual (Spanish & English)
➢ Given talks about Android, Web development and entrepreneurship at various meetups and events
including McFred, London Web Components Meetup and Decentralized Web Summit.
➢ Participated and won some hackathons (BYND 2015, Campus Party London 2013)
