Hello! I’m Alaina Cañada, a dedicated Virtual Assistant with over 3 years of remote work experience, supporting business owners, recruiters, and content creators with their day-to-day operations. From 2021 to 2025, I worked with an Industry Recruiter through Upwork, where I managed high-volume email outreach (200–300 emails per day), coordinated candidate communication, created progress reports, and maintained organized spreadsheets of applicants. I also helped with lead generation and managed key administrative workflows to support smooth hiring processes.
In 2025, I started managing the TikTok and Instagram pages for KahmeFanpage, where I create and edit engaging short-form video content using Canva and TikTok’s built-in tools. I plan content calendars, schedule posts, monitor audience interactions, and keep up with trends to grow visibility and engagement on both platforms.
Before becoming a Virtual Assistant, I built a strong foundation in customer service and front-line operations. I worked as a Customer Service Associate and Branch Cashier at Sun Gate Pawnshop Inc. from 2011 to 2015. My responsibilities included assisting customers, handling cash and loan transactions, and appraising items. From 2016 to 2017, I worked at Rio Hotel and Casino in Macau as a Public Area Attendant, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring excellent guest experience in public spaces.
These experiences developed my skills in communication, reliability, attention to detail, and multitasking—qualities I now bring to my virtual assistant work. I’m highly proficient in tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Trello, Canva, Calendly, Avochato, and Zoom.
