I am a skilled and versatile communication professional with a strong background in creating strategic communication plans, content development, and public relations. My career spans over several impactful roles in international and national organizations, where I have honed my abilities to craft compelling communication materials, build strong community relationships, and ensure the effective dissemination of information.

Currently, I work as a Communication Officer at the Centre for Disability in Development (CDD), where I manage communication activities, coordinate media coverage, and develop training materials. My role involves maintaining a communication calendar, conducting knowledge management training, and collaborating with donors and media to ensure the alignment of communication strategies with organizational goals.

Previously, I served as a Communication Specialist at Helen Keller International, where I was responsible for creating engaging content, developing communication materials, and coordinating impactful events. My experience extends to supporting donor visits and producing a variety of materials, such as reports, case studies, and press releases, to enhance the organization’s outreach.

In addition to my work in communication, I have experience in photography and videography, having worked with the Rohingya Cultural Memory Centre (RCMC) under the International Organization for Migration (IOM). I supported outreach activities, conducted training sessions, and prepared materials for donor visits. This role allowed me to work closely with communities, collecting case studies and testimonies to highlight the impact of various projects.

Earlier in my career, I contributed to the development of audio-visual communication strategies as a consultant for the Centre for Environmental and Geographic Information Services, where I also designed communication materials and captured video footage for events. I also supported the Hope, Love & Beauty Project in Los Angeles by documenting community-level crowdfunding campaigns.

I hold a Master of Social Science in Sociology from the University of Chittagong and a Diploma in Cinema and TV Production from Los Angeles City College. Additionally, I am certified in professional graphics design, video production, and video directing, with proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.

I am passionate about using my skills to create meaningful change through effective communication and community engagement, and I am always eager to take on new challenges that allow me to grow both professionally and personally.
