Projects
Quest Media Gateway - Real-Time Video Streaming & Analytics Platform
Designed and developed an on-premise, real-time video streaming and analytics solution for enterprise-level surveillance. The
system integrates with multiple Video Management Systems (Milestone, Genetec, Hanwha, Dahua) via their SDKs to retrieve
live video feeds. These feeds are processed and transcoded into RTSP streams using containerized FFMPEG services. Data is
published through Mosquitto (MQTT) for scalable media distribution. A microservices-based API layer manages
communication between modules, enabling real-time analytics such as intrusion detection, loitering, and identifying Persons of
Interest. The architecture supports centralized logging and monitoring, ensuring secure and efficient video data handling in
on-premise environments.
Technologies used:. Python, Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, RTSP, HLS, WEBRTC, FFMPEG, MQTT (Mosquitto), RESTful
APIs, VMS SDKs (Milestone, Genetec, Hanwha, Dahua), Graylog, Prometheus, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Centralized
Logging, Real-time Video Analytics.
QUEST Share - Secure Cloud-Based Video Sharing Platform
Developed and deployed QUEST Share, a cloud-based platform designed to securely share live and recorded video streams
from sensitive environments such as control rooms. The platform enables authorized users to access video content remotely via
modern web browsers—without requiring any additional plugins or software. It incorporates robust security protocols
including username/password authentication, TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption, and optional end-to-end stream protection
via a dedicated VPN. This ensures secure distribution of critical video data, extending situational awareness beyond
physical control centers. QUEST Share supports flexible access management and time-bound sharing, allowing operators to
grant temporary viewing rights to designated recipients—anytime, anywhere.
Technologies used:. Python, Docker, RTSP, HLS, WEBRTC, FFMPEG, MQTT (Mosquitto), RESTful APIs, MongoDB,
MySQL,
Raven AI – ATM Surveillance and Alerting System
Designed and deployed an intelligent, fully automated surveillance system aimed at enhancing security across a network of
ATMs in metropolitan areas. The solution continuously monitors real-time video feeds to detect a wide range of unusual
activities such as intrusion, loitering, single-person occupancy, suspicious behavior, robbery, vandalism, arson, and the presence
of unauthorized objects or individuals. A highly responsive alerting mechanism was implemented to ensure immediate
notification to relevant security personnel, enabling swift intervention. The platform played a crucial role in strengthening
safety protocols and reducing incident response times, offering a scalable and adaptable solution for urban security
environments.
Implemented cloud-native solutions using Docker and Kubernetes, which enabled the system to handle a significant increase in
data points (over 50,000 per day) with high availability and zero downtime.
This project resulted in a 30% increase in operational efficiency and reduced fuel wastage by 20% by optimizing delivery routes
and reducing unauthorized stops.
Technologies used: Python, NodeJS, FFmpeg, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes Orchestration, Fast Reverse Proxy
Apron AI – Aircraft Stand Monitoring System
Spearheaded the design and implementation of an intelligent video analytics system to automate monitoring of aircraft stand
operations at a major Middle Eastern airport. The platform identifies and flags abnormal or unauthorized activities in real
time, improving situational awareness and improving ground safety. A dynamic alert mechanism was built to immediately
inform relevant stakeholders, enabling rapid response and adherence to safety protocols. The solution contributed to a
measurable 5% improvement in aircraft turnaround times, driving higher operational efficiency and increased revenue for the
airport. The system was designed for high scalability, performance under heavy loads, and seamless integration with existing
airport operations workflows.
Technologies used: HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Python, ReactJS, FFmpeg, Jenkins, Yolov5, Custom AI Model, GlusterFS,
Kubernetes Orchestration, Locust
