1. CRIS (Credit Risk Information Services)
Regulatory Capital Reporting (PRA and EBA) for the BarclayCard cluster which includes inputs gathering from various risk partners for generating key risk metrics and ensure complete and accurate delivery of risk information packs to agreed stakeholders.
Collaborate within the consolidation team, finance team and business functions to ensure compliance.
Handling monthly and quarterly reporting (IMS attestation) of Basel compliant flash RWAs with subsequent analysis of actual deviations.
Preparing various manual returns for explaining the detailed analysis & commentary on the movements within the cluster.
Representing BarclayCard in regular meetings organised by group finance for RROC, Variance Analysis, Pillar III, etc…
Responsible for management of the quality of RWA data for Leverage, Securitization and Credit Risk; implementing regulatory assurance for Credit Risk.
Performing Risk to finance reconciliation and keeping robust control environment by performing checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Completing Ad- hoc request from senior management, regulators and other teams.
COREP (Axiom)
Supporting with disclosure input of all regulatory reports i.e. CoRep templates, Pillar III, ICAAP, Quantitative Impact Study (QIS); steering validation & sign-off
Preparing & submission of credit risk COREP returns on a quarterly basis. Liaisoning with Tech team to get taxonomy upgrades in AXIOM for COREP returns.
Detecting data validation checks for CoRep submissions and coordinated for quantitative risk reporting in cluster return (BOE Submission)
ICAAP – Preparation of capital attribution report based on products/ business line for ICAAP purposes.
Project
Resolving legacy data quality issue of RWA reporting with in Central Government asset class.
Analysing the existing data source (via IFF) and basis the counterparty names.
Thereafter tagging counterparties based upon Sector Classification Guide and inputs from senior management to reclassify them into Central Government, Regional Government, Corporate and Retail classes.
This led to an increase in RWA reporting for the cluster.
Going forward, it is still being investigated to implement the solution at root level.
2. CORPORATE BANKING
Preparing credit reports of corporate clients in UK for funding up to £25 million. Working as a member of Middle Office, Barclays Bank Corporate Banking Credit team - London.
Appraisal is primarily based on company analysis (both financial and qualitative), Industry analysis and the overall transaction/security structure. Highlight risk concerns and evaluating mitigants while doing the appraisal.
Facility structures/ Product category includes all major corporate banking products such as overdrafts, term loans, asset finance, sales finance, settlement limits, trading limits like LC’s / BG’s and SFET limits (derivatives)
Responsible for mapped portfolio of corporate clients and taking care of all conquest, interim limits request along with annual reviews. Handling complete process of lending operations which includes:
Working closely with mapped Relationship Director (RD) & working in partnership with the Post Sanction Case managers, Credit Monitoring team, Coverage team, servicing team and other specialists.

Part of credit underwriting team and have worked on various projects for Banking and Corporate clients
Underwriting credit research reports comprising in-depth fundamental and credit analysis of issuers (credit opinion, market trends, and industry analysis)
Responsibilities mainly include preparing detailed credit underwriting reports in collaboration with client Analysts and credit managers. Commenting on key credit credentials with the help of financial/credit models; emphasizing on credit history, financial ratios, debt structure analysis, liquidity analysis, and income growth prospectus.

Assessment of the counterparty’s free cash flows and liquidity position with respect to their debt maturity profile by studying the credit facilities, covenant analysis and movement in key leverage ratios
Rating Updates: Providing detailed discussion on the counterparty’s (investment grade or high-yield category) rating changes for Moody’s, S&P and Fitch ratings
Sector Overview: Preparation of brief industry overview to provide with recent industry trends and future outlook of the sector in which the counterparty operates
On-going Monitoring & Surveillance of assigned portfolio, which mainly includes rating changes, financial/industry development, news events etc.
Company Profile: Brief business description of the entity, including business strategy, management overview and recent events using publicly available information.
Recommendation: Providing a final recommendation to client based on the entire analysis along with the proposed trade limit.
Proficient with databases/tools like Capital IQ, Factiva, Salesforce, OneSource, Moody’s CreditEdge, Moody’s RiskCalc and Reuters for data sourcing, forecasting, and financial/industry development.
