Formerly a software developer with 4 years of experience on Java, SQL and IBM ISeries. Later a middleware system administrator with strong knowledge of Linux, AIX, IBM WAS (WebSphere Application Server), IBM MQ (Message Queue), IBM CM (Content Manager), IIS (Internet Information Services), JBoss EAP, Wildfy, Apache Tomcat, AppDynamics, Git, SVN, HP Fortify SCA. Recently for the last 2 years I have been in Kubernetes Administrator role with 3xCertifed Kubernetes certificate responsible for all OpenShift clusters at Akbank serving Tosla, BSA and other applications. I have been responsible of the following.

• Installation and upgrade of OpenShift clusters

• RBAC using AD groups for development teams

• ETCD backup/restore and Manifests+PV backup/restore with Velero&Restic

• Migration of projects from OpenShift 3.11 clusters to OpenShift 4.7 clusters

• JBoss EAP and JVM Optimizations

• Observability & Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana

• Supporting APM analysis using Dynatrace Managed

• Supports cluster logging with ELK stack

• Developing GitOps enabled Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for test&prod environments using Tekton, ArgoCD, Kustomize, Helm, Python and Shell scripting

• Supports security using OpenShift Advanced Cluster Security (ACS) / Stackrox

• Research on Cluster Installation & Post Configuration & Worker Addition & Self-Service tasks using Ansible Automation & Terraform
