Ahmed Mohamed Younis

I'm Ahmed Younis, a Computer and Communication Engineering graduate from Alexandria University with a minor in Artificial Intelligence. My expertise lies at the intersection of speech AI and full-stack development. I’ve worked on a wide range of projects — from custom deep learning models to complete mobile and web apps — and I’m passionate about building real-world applications that are both intelligent and accessible.

My graduation project showcases this blend of skills: I developed a Multistage Speech Intelligence System that included an Arabic Text-to-Speech (TTS) system using XTTS, a Speech-to-Text (STT) engine fine-tuned on Egyptian dialects using Wav2Vec, and a voice deepfake detector trained on the ASVSPOOF dataset. I wrapped these models into fully functional apps deployed on both mobile and web platforms, offering a full end-to-end solution.

Beyond speech AI, I’ve built several web and mobile applications using Flutter, Firebase, and Flask, including UniScore — a live football scores app published on the Amazon App Store. I’ve also participated in challenges like the MIT AIC 2024 (Automatic Speech Recognition for Arabic dialects), the Gemini API Challenge, and the NASA Space Apps Hackathon, where I was recognized as a Global Nominee. These experiences have sharpened my ability to build quickly, think critically, and adapt under pressure.

I work with technologies like Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, JavaScript, and SQL, and I’m comfortable with both backend systems and user-facing interfaces.
