Improved cashflow & working capital management processes, thereby eliminating the Company’s
reliance on use of loans & overdrafts within my first 6 months in office.
Renegotiated agreement with a major supplier that led to an initial cost saving of $150k (could be more
depending on volume of purchases)

Managed the finance function spanning budgeting, planning, internal controls, bookkeeping and compliance. Served as a
key member of the leadership team and advised business leaders on strategic growth initiatives.
Brought about the increase of operating income by about 4.1% per annum by developing and
implementing forecasting and cost reduction procedures.
Improved supply management and purchasing process by ensuring strict compliance with existing rules,
approval limits, vendor competitiveness, improved documentations. This led to reduction in fictitious and
unnecessary purchases by about $120k per annum
Optimized forecasting accuracy by improving existing monitoring & created reporting templates (in
excel), resulting in the reversal of downward trend in past-due accounts and at the same time reduced
reporting time from 16hours to about 2 hours.
Quickly learnt how to use the specialised accounting software, identified bugs/issues leading to overreporting/recording of revenue of almost 1bnaira, escalated the issue for rectification at the HQ while
working locally with my supervisor to manually correct the situation & report appropriate numbers.
