Tobi Adesina
BRAND IDENTITY DESIGNER
I am designer with over 5 years experience in graphics
design, branding and UI design. I have an expert skill
level in design as well as high competence in brand
strategy, abstract thinking, and product design. I am
proficient in the use of Adobe Suite, Illustrator,
Photoshop, Figma and Adobe XD.
My 5 plus years of experience includes work with brands
ranging from startups to large corporations. My career
started out with his passion for creating artistic and
unique designs, this led me down a path of increased
proficiency in brand communications and identity design.
My work experience spans across developing and
refining brand messaging, brand architecture, creating
Brand identity systems, visual and operational branding
guidelines, corporate identity packages, ad campaigns,
designs for print and traditional media, social media
campaign, digital campaigns, amongst others.
My experience with a range of brands has enabled me
to integrate consumer behaviour, user experience as well
as cultural and market trends into my work process.

Ofada Foods is a culture-centric indigenous food brand
in Lagos, Nigeria. Inspired by the Yoruba local delicacy,
"Ofada", Ofada foods is rooted in her passion to promote
cultural essence through her brand channels, and more
importantly, the wealth of her delcacies. From reinventing
special recipes of traditional local meals, to creating a
rich customer experience, and sense of community that
beautifully portrays what it is like to dine in an African
kitchen.
I helped Ofada foods develop a visually compelling brand
identity. From bold and vibrant colours that accentuates
the personality of the brand, to graphic elements drawn
from several native meals both creating that visual
connection with customers, to menu names inspired by
local Yoruba delicacies, the brand identity is a rich one
that culminates the brand ethos, inspires brand
association and a pleasing customer relationship.

The brand aims to tackle specific issues that
affects the female gender, as it aligns with the
SDG goals; this brand association played a key
role in the ideation of the HERise Global logo.

In creating the HERise logo, I did a personal
brand analysis bases on discussions with the
client - listed on the right. This analysis
coupled with the brand association with the
SDGs formed the body of inspiration upon
which the HERise Global logo was created.
I also adapted the brand elements across
social media to maintain brand consistency
across board.

20something is an urban feminine clothing brand
located in the United Kingdom targeted towards the
millennial market. I was tasked with creating an
identity that resonates with teens in their early 20's
exploring current fashion trends and popular culture.
To create a more experiential brand immersion, I
focused on three areas; messaging, story, and
imagery. In order to connect more with the 20s
demographic, I created short but powerful captions
emphasizing the uniqueness of this age range. This
helped with traction and enabled the brand permeate
their targeted market with much ease, as “they spoke
the language of their audience.”
