Adeleke Joy Ireti

I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife with over three years of professional experience, including hands-on telehealth and remote patient support.

I worked with First Patient Engagement Ltd (Lagos, Nigeria) from January 2024 to May 2025, where I started as an Acute Telehealth Nurse and later became an Acute Telehealth Clinical Supervisor. In this role, I provided virtual consultations, carried out remote patient assessments, and supported patients with their ongoing care. I handled a wide range of patient requests daily, including appointment scheduling, lab test coordination and follow-ups, referrals, medication refills, and documentation of patient encounters using electronic health record systems. As a supervisor, I also supported and trained other nurses, conducted audits, and worked with the team to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.

Currently, I work with the Lagos State Health Service Commission (Nigeria) as a Senior Nursing Officer (2025 – Present), where I provide direct care to patients in medical-surgical and acute settings. My responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring treatment progress, and patient education. This role has strengthened my clinical judgment and ability to manage different types of patient cases effectively.

I also worked at Nigerian Navy Hospital (NNS Jubilee), Akwa Ibom (2022 – 2023), where I provided nursing and midwifery care, including maternal and neonatal support, wound care, and emergency care.

Through my experience, I have developed strong skills in telehealth, patient communication, and healthcare support. I am comfortable working remotely, managing multiple tasks, and ensuring patients receive timely and accurate support. I am reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing both quality care and a positive experience for every patient.

I am open to remote roles such as Telehealth Nurse, Medical Virtual Assistant, Patient Care Coordinator, and Healthcare Customer Support.
