 / Work Experience 1. Ojuse BAO Government intervention. Ekiit State Governor’s Office, Fajuyi, Ado-Ekiti June 2024 – Present Position: Environmental and Social Consultant - Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) Main Duties/Achievements: Visited the business location of all recipients of intervention from the state government to identify the impact of the intervention on their livelihood. Identified and reported the Environmental and social impact of the interventions and business activities of the recipients. Collected data from recipients and analysed it to form baseline information. Suggested mitigation plans for businesses that have negative social and environmental impacts. Facilitated training for recipients of government intervention to promote the sustainability of the project. 2. NFWP – Nigeria for women Project Taraba and Niger state April 2024 – May 2024 Position: Social Specialist - Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) Main Duties/Achievements: Visited the proposed sites for groundnut processing, Rice milling, palm oil processing, and shear butter production. Identified the case-by-case social sensitivities and mitigation plan. Carried out stakeholder consultations with community leaders, youth representatives, women representatives and MDAs. Developed consultation plan which is a vital part of the ESMPs prepared. Conducted a study to identify and mitigate all negative/adverse social impacts. Identified responsibilities and actors for the implementation of proposed mitigation measures. Assessment of measures to prevent social risks related to labour influx in project communities such as Gender-based violence, risky sexual behaviour, and transactional sexual relations Coordination of consultations with project beneficiaries and stakeholders during project preparation and development of safeguard instruments. Supported the Project on the engagement of stakeholders, creating awareness and educating them on the project objectives and implementation processes. Screening of project sites for safeguard issues and recommendation of appropriate safeguards measures to mitigate social impact on people living in project areas. Defined and justified the project study area for the assessment of social impacts. Conducted socio-economic survey. RAAMP – Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project Abia, Akwa Ibom, Kogi, Ogun, Oyo, Kwara, and Ondo state March 2024 Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer/Data Management Expert - Social Assessment (SA) Main Duties/Achievements: •Established baselines and benchmarks with indicators for use in future monitoring. •Determined appropriate data collection and analytical tools and methods. Collated, analysed and interpreted the data. •Identified social risks (e.g. country risks, political, economy risks, institutional risks, exogenous risks, and vulnerability risks) and proposed a social development strategy, including recommendations for institutional arrangements to achieve them, based on the findings of the social assessment. •Carried out stakeholder consultations with community leaders, youth representatives, women representatives and MDAs. •Visited 6 markets in each of the 7 states and assessed the social sensitivities. •Coordination of consultations with project beneficiaries and stakeholders during project preparation and development of safeguard instruments. •Supported the Project on the engagement of stakeholders, creating awareness and educating them on the project objectives and implementation processes. •Screening of project sites for safeguard issues and recommendation of appropriate safeguards measures to mitigate social impact on people living in project areas. •Conducted socio-economic survey. 4. NFWP – Nigeria for women Project Abeokuta, Ogun State February 2024 – March 2024 Position: Environmental Specialist - Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) Main Duties/Achievements: Supervised the preparation of Environmental and Social Management Plan ESMP for 61 livelihood collectives along value chain. Carried out stakeholder consultations with community leaders, youth representatives, women representatives and MDAs. Developed consultation plan which is a vital part of the ESMPs prepared. Visited all 61 sites and assessed the potential Environmental and Social Impact of intervention on the intervention environment. Conducted a study to identify and mitigate all negative/adverse environmental and social impacts. Identify responsibilities and actors for the implementation of proposed mitigation measures. (AFDB)/ SEDA-Afritech PortHarcourt, Rivers State. October 2023 – November 2023 Position: Resettlement Specialist – Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) preparation Main Duties/Achievements: Recruited and trained field enumerators. Supervised the enumeration of projected affected persons (PAP) along project corridor. Conducted socio-economics to analyse the baseline data of people within the project communities. Conducted stakeholder engagements with MDA’s, community leaders, and project affected person. Established the impact status of the project on structures and projected affected persons. Prepared the PAP register which will be used for the RAP implementation. Visited all project sites and corridors to identify and register PAPs. Informed PAPs about the project and the possible impact it will have on them. 6. IUFMP – Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (World Bank) / SEDA-Afritech Ibadan, Oyo-State. April 2022 – Dec 2022 Position: Data Supervisor -Resettlement Action Plan Main Duties/Achievements: Visited all project sites and corridors to confirm and verify identified PAPs. Verified and certified the identity of Project-affected persons (PAPs) shown in the register of PAPs prepared in the Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs); Trained Enumerators on the verification process associated with RAP implementation. Developed a checklist of all required documents from PAPs to complete verification exercise. Developed a grievance redress document for documentation and monitoring of grievances. Notified PAPs and disclosed entitlements that have been earlier determined in the respective Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs) Participating in grievance redress and dispute resolution. Assisted in setting up a Resettlement Implementation Committee in Project Area to help with the Rap Implementation exercise.
