Duties & Responsibilities
Directing, coordinating and planning all facets of facilities management operations: power supply and
transmission, utilities, plant maintenance, plant certification, plumbing and electrical works for
Vedic facilities and properties.

Directing, coordinating and planning essential services such as reception, maintenance, cleaning, landscape,
security, waste management and meeting the needs of all clients by managing all the required services.
Provide motivational leadership and design of job schedules for team members whilst ensuring clarity of
direction, effective communication and development of individual potential including performance appraisals,
training plans and administrative logistics for daily facility operations.
Managing all facilities operations against Planned Preventive Maintenance programs- PPM (in order to avoid
minimize downtime), including scope of work, specifications, SLA's, management of vendors, quality
assessment and an efficient fleet management mechanism for the operation of the business in other locations.
Coordinating the Facility Managers team to meet the daily facility' needs of the Estate via ownership of the
facilities and assets in respective Clusters whilst ensuring 'best practice' facility management strategies and
property value schemes are implemented and adhered to.
Acts as a liaison between real Estate operations and Project Management groups through proactive
involvement with acquisitions and space planning, property leasing and sales, making specifications/
recommendations based on empirical data, and analysing trends and life cycle cost of equipment, plant and
materials to support changes and enhancement.
Plans, directs and coordinate all common areas facilities (lift operations, fire prevention and management,
HVAC maintenance...) to ensure that goals or objectives of facilities and implement value for money in service
delivery.
Operation and maintenance of the fleet unit ranging from Insurance policy, auction and purchase of new
vehicles for the business, improvement on the tracking scheme; meeting any maintenance works ahead of the
following year's budget and coordinating activities to ensure all vehicles progresses on schedule and within
budget.
Ensure that financial and all other resources are managed within agreed parameters, identify and implement
opportunities to achieve greater efficiency, revenue drive and business proposal for the entire company and
ensure payment of all bills (PHCN, Ground rent, Land Use Act, Service charge etc).
Overseeing the Health and Safety of Plusworld Realtors and employees according to guidance and complying
with all statutory and legal requirements coupled with the management of security personnel and Police
operations in the facilities.
Ensure that all activities within the facilities and assets management functions comply and integrate with
organizational requirements for Health and Safety; risk management protocols; legal and statutory duties;
general duty of care and; train team members to work in accordance with them.
Identify and report maintenance requirements, hazards in the work-place and to follow-up to ensure consistent
minimal defects and excellent customer service are met; builds company image by aligning with the company's
core values and collaborating with customers, government agencies and parastatals, community organizations,
and employees thereby enforcing ethical business standards.
