Life
I grew up in Chicago, where I met my wife Jessica.
We had our first and only child on October 2,
2011. An amazing girl named Melanie.
The three of us have spent every day of Melanie’s
life together, and live by a mantra of “All together,
best friends forever.” We decided as a family in
2016 to buy our first house and move to Phoenix!

Once we got here, we got our Super Dog, Blue
who ties her own full Windsor knot, and Sir
Charles. Our little Yorkie who always needs a
haircut.
I took my job with Restaurant.com with me as a
National Account Manager. Jessica began
working at Melanie’s new school, and we all took
up golfing!

Work
As a child I was always looking for ways to make my own money and
not rely on allowance. Shoveling snow, buying candy in bulk and
reselling it at school. I took a babysitting and life & health course so
that I could be a Junior Camp Counselor, and any other odd jobs I
could find.
I took my first official job the day I became a legal worker on May 24,
‘99 when I turned 14. I sold wine club memberships to the hospitality
industry over the phone and led the company in sales for 3 years.
My second job taught me so many things about inside sales, outside
sales, corporate structure, how to hunt for leads and how to hit quota.
I was promoted 4 times over the course of 9 years, ultimately to
Director of Inside Sales. My proudest achievement in my 20’s was
working with the Chicago Transit Authority to establish a bus route
from the South Side of Chicago to the North Suburbs where our office
was located in order to provide opportunity to impoverished areas of
the city.
I began a new chapter of my career in 2012 when Restaurant.com
recruited me to be the first inside sales rep the company ever hired. It
went so well that we hired another 100, and I moved to the Corporate
sales team for the rest of my career at Restaurant.com.
With the Corporate Sales team I sold Gift Cards to businesses looking
for a consumer action. I sold over $2.3 mm in Gift Card sales
compared to a quota of $480k and I have every client that I have ever
worked with saved on a spreadsheet and stay in touch with a good
amount of them.

InfluenceMy Family
I made a lot of money early on in my career
without much purpose. I was working myself into
the ground and wasting the money I made on
materialistic things.
Jessica and I
get married.
Jessica moved into my apartment in 2009, and
showed me that there are reasons to work and to
live outside of just necessity to work.
We had our first and only child in our early 20’s,
which really gave life a new perspective for me.
Now I had purpose, things to enjoy and people to
enjoy them with. It was time to buy a family
house.
We all knew that Chicago wasn’t where we
wanted to live forever. We wanted sunshine and
palm trees. I keep that thought in my head every
day as I’ve worked from my home office, looking
down over my palm trees.
We decide as a
family to move from
Chicago to Arizona.
Jessica and Melanie
are my inspiration
every day.

Travel
Growing up with a pilot as my father, I’ve had the
opportunity to travel to every state except
Alabama and Alaska.
I also played Tuba in multiple State and National
Symphony Orchestras. We had the opportunity to
tour Hawaii, Germany, Italy, Spain, and France.
Naturally, I grew to love traveling and take my
family on vacation as often as we can. My family
has been to Hawaii together 3 times, and our
favorite place in the world is Kauai! We just got
back from there last week. Here are some photos
of our trip!

Legacy
This putter can be left
better than I found it.
The little things really
matter!
Our streets in 2016, before I
ran for the board. We had no
funds in reserve.
One 6 month D2D fundraiser
later, we had the funds in our
reserve to repair the streets.
My back yard can be left
better than I found it.
MUCH Better!
In my career I have created thousands of jobs and helped
thousands of businesses become more profitable.
In my public life, I have made it a mission to leave everything
better than it was before I found it. As president of my
Homeowners’ Association I have rebuilt 30 year old streets and
built new playgrounds. Property values have increased every
year, and I have been unanimously re elected 4 terms in a row.
But what is most important to me is that I am a good example
to my family. That I act with humility, dignity, and respect no
matter what the situation is or who I am working with.
Everywhere I go, I think to myself “How can I leave this better
than I found it?” Then I get that done and move on to the next
item.
