Abu Sayed Mahfuz Hasan

I am a seasoned Java Developer with over 16 years of comprehensive experience in software engineering, including more than 11 years of specialized work in the banking and financial services sector. My career has been defined by a strong focus on backend development, enterprise-grade application design, and system integration—mainly leveraging the Java ecosystem and Spring Boot framework.

Since March 2021, I have been leading backend development efforts for the BBA Mastro system, a critical application supporting enterprise operations. My role involves designing scalable microservices, implementing robust RESTful APIs, managing database performance (primarily with PostgreSQL), and ensuring secure, maintainable code architecture. I take pride in developing clean, reusable code and enjoy solving complex business problems through elegant technical solutions.

My academic foundation is rooted in a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), which has equipped me with a strong theoretical base that I apply daily to practical challenges. I also have a hands-on approach to DevOps and cloud-based deployments, and I'm comfortable working in agile, collaborative, and fast-paced environments.

Over the years, I've worked on a wide range of projects—from legacy system modernization to greenfield development. I’m passionate about learning new technologies, mentoring junior developers, and continuously improving code quality and team efficiency.

When I'm not coding, I enjoy experimenting with embedded systems and drones. I have a fun side project focused on drone development, which keeps me curious about hardware-software integration and real-time control systems.
