Indicates additional underwriting remarks on the Issuance Request such as U/W Distribution, Facultative Cession, Special Agreements on Coverage, Premium Rates and Conditions, Complicated premium computations, non-standard endorsements or clauses.
Evaluate risk if same is within the Treaty facility and seek / facilitate Facultative placement if the risk is outside the Treaty Arrangement.
Override policies with claim in order to proceed / process renewals.
Receives and evaluates motor car risks being referred by Marketing Dept. If the risk is acceptable, recommends competitive rate in compliance with net rating guidelines.
Assist Superior in formulating rates and packages for large fleet or broker accounts.
Review loss experience of existing and expiring accounts and recommends necessary revisions, reduction or maintenance of rate.
Underwrite branches and marketing/sales request and provide assessment and forward my recommendation to my superior for approval.
Assists the Dept. Head and Assistant Manager in preparation of statistical reports when required.
Gather FMVs of units’ subject for renewal and submit to marketing for confirmation before preparing the renewal notice.
Process and release Renewal Notice.
Handle and monitor Inward and outward Facultative. Evaluates risks that needs to be ceded out to Re-insurers and refers to Assistant Manager for his comments/approval. -If for renewal, identify policies for Hold cover and prepare Hold cover notice / advice.
Collects and assess policies issued by the Dealers. Checked if the unit, coverages, computation, rate and commission is within the underwriting guidelines and MOA. Advise marketing/sales for any discrepancies.
