Job Description and Responsibilities:  Site inspection for civil works, which includes structural and finishing works and ensure that the work is as per the Project Specifications and issued for construction drawing/final approved drawings from authorities.   Check and review the plans and specifications for the proper construction & quality implementation at job site.   Setting out of land using surveying instruments like dumpy level ,total station.  BOQ preparation of civil works.  Technically assisting the work and manage the project accordingly.   Recording measurements in Measurement Book and preparation of RA Bill.  Ensure that all the works meets the stipulated quality standards.   Coordinate with contractor for smooth flow of work.  Coordinate with superior officer for any change in drawings or any revision.  Making daily and monthly reports.  Maintaining Steel, Cement, Field work, Cube test registers. Sites handled: (i) Construction of 42.00 m height Pentagonal R.C.C Lighthouse tower at Valiyazhikkal, Kayamkulam, Alappey. (ii) Construction of Lighthouse quarters, Retaining wall, Overhead Water tank and RCC Water sump at Valiyazhikkal, Kayamkulam, Alappey.
