PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Total Experience: 41 Years in various fields IN KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA: From : 1984 – to date Naval Supply Center (NSC) of King Abdulaziz Naval Base, Al-Jubail – K.S.A. with the following assignments/tasks: Part 1 First of all, receive requisitions from all over the Base activities and Naval Airport and Ras Al-Ghar/Ras Al-Mushaab Ports, inspect the procurement related items of Ships Supplies including Industrial/Mechanical parts, Engines, Motors, Pumps and other allied items like Chemicals, Diving supplies, Janitorial, Hardware and tools, Vehicles Spare Parts, prepared folders and assign budget code for related item with RFQ (Request for Quotation) and send for typing, On Official Quotation Form, and forward Quotation to the concerned vendors who provide lowest quotations and issue Purchase Order/Contract in favor of lowest quoted vendor, and complete the actual requirements of Ships. Part 2 Also performed duties in the absence of Director Secretary as a Executive Secretary to Supervise typing/filing of all in/outgoing correspondences both English and Arabic Originated by all 7 Departments of NSCEF. Maintain Log of all correspondence and faxes sent via Director, NSC in/out of Kingdom. Arrange Conference Room for Weekly and Monthly Logistics Meetings and co-ordinate with other functional areas for meeting schedules and minutes of the meetings and other related works on behalf of Director, NSC. Review and developed Command directives and correspondence pertaining to NSC operations. IN PAKISTAN: From : 1975 - 1984 Worked as OFFICE ASSISTANT/ADMIN MANAGER in Super Shipping Services, Karachi – Pakistan, A leading Clearing/Forwarding Company, clearing of Chemical Raw materials and Industrial Heavy Machineries and other allied items from Karachi Port. Maintaining/Processing of Bill of Entries/Shipping Bills for Import/Export of allied items for clearance from Karachi Port. Maintaining Ships arrival schedule and inform concerned Importers/Exporters for the payments of Custom duties and Sales tax etc., also supervise the Custom clearing clerks for proper disposition of duties/delivery of Cleared items to related importers warehouse.
