Abby Wilt

I am currently the News Assistant for Pepperdine Graphic Media, where I work with the editorial staff to pitch stories, conduct interviews, write and edit stories weekly. I also layout pages of the newspaper using InDesign, and manage Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook by posting news and breaking news. I am also a Broadcast Reporter for NewsWaves 32, where I film, produce, and edit three-minute-long video packages weekly telling compelling stories. I am a staff writer for Currents Magazine where I work with my team to produce a biannual magazine telling stories for the Malibu community. I am technically adept on a variety of Adobe software systems and Microsoft Word platforms. I pay strong attention to detail and am passionate about telling stories that make a difference. I am passionate about standing up for unbiased, factual news and maintaining integrity, work ethic, and optimism in all that I do.
