WordPress Development (Elementor, WooCommerce) hourly

Camberlion HQ: Melbourne, Florida, United States Remote job Jan 21

Please use the word "SPACE" in your proposal so we know you are paying attention, and submit a short intro video if you are serious about the role.

Looking for a super stuffy company that makes you apply twice and go through 6 interviews before considering you for the role? If so, we are not the company you are looking for. On the other hand, if you enjoy making a positive impact and working with a team that values you and your unique talents, we want to hear from you!

We are a fun-loving small digital marketing studio that helps businesses grow their online presence and reach their target audience. We offer services such as marketing & growth strategy, web design and development, and targeted digital marketing.

As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for:

-Developing and customizing WordPress websites with a focus on user-friendly design and functionality

-Building beautiful, responsive sites using Elementor and creating seamless e-commerce experiences with WooCommerce

-Troubleshooting and debugging WordPress issues while maintaining site performance and security

-Collaborating with our team of designers, marketers, and content creators to bring client visions to life through custom WordPress solutions

-Implementing SEO best practices and ensuring websites are optimized for search engines and user experience

-Managing WordPress updates, plugin compatibility, and site maintenance to keep everything running smoothly

To be successful in this role, you should have:

-Strong proficiency in WordPress development, with particular expertise in Elementor and WooCommerce

-Solid understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to WordPress development

-Experience with Custom Blocks, APIs, and Advanced Custom Fields is ideal but not required, we're happy to help you learn!

-Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

-The ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards

-Reliable and proactive communication skills, we believe great teamwork starts with great communication

-A passion for WordPress and desire to work in a dynamic, growth-focused environment

What to know about working with Camberlion

-Flexible working hours (though we'd appreciate your availability during EST for collaboration)

-A degree in computer science is great; passion for the role and company mission is even better

-We value integrity, authenticity, and respect for others

-We hire people, not job titles, and routinely recreate a role to fit the strengths of the individual

If you see Camberlion as a fit but are not sure about alignment with the current job openings, we encourage you to reach out anyway. We’re always excited to make new friends and keep communication open so we can bring on team members when the timing is right.
