We are a travel couple creating short-form content for TikTok and Instagram Reels and are looking for a creative video editor to join us long-term.
We love the fast-paced, cinematic, trendy style of creators like @saltinourhair and want to move in that direction. The goal is to turn our raw iPhone travel clips (plus online-sourced clips when needed) into engaging short videos that help us grow a loyal audience through FAQs, how-tos, vlogs, and travel tips.
You will be responsible for:
- Editing 3–5 TikToks/Reels per week in vertical format.
- Creating videos from scratch using our raw clips + additional online-sourced clips when relevant.
- Adding hooks, transitions, text overlays, English captions/subtitles, and light color correction to make videos feel cinematic and engaging.
- Turning basic, amateur raw footage into polished, scroll-stopping content optimized for TikTok and Reels.
- Bringing your own creative ideas for concepts, hooks, and storytelling based on our destination and footage.
- Collaborating with us via WhatsApp and sharing/exporting files via Google Drive.
- Providing same-day turnaround for most edits.
You should be:
- Specialized in TikTok/Reels style editing with a strong sense of pacing, trends, and hooks.
- Comfortable working with iPhone footage and making lower-quality/raw clips look as good as possible.
- Experienced in editing for travel content or lifestyle/creator brands (preferred).
- Able to understand and match a brand that is adventurous, fun, and a mix of luxury and budget travel.
- Proactive, communicative, and open to feedback for a long-term ongoing partnership.
