The Senior UI/UX Designer leads the end-to-end design process, transforming complex business and user requirements into simple, intuitive digital experiences. This role defines the UX vision, guides design standards, mentors designers, and partners with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver high-quality, user-centered products.
- Define and champion the product’s UX vision, visual identity, and design principles.
- Advocate for users by applying research, feedback, analytics, and usability data to product decisions.
- Simplify complex workflows and create clear, accessible interfaces that reduce cognitive load.
- Lead user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, personas, journey maps, and competitive analysis.
- Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, interactions, and micro-interactions.
- Validate and improve designs through user feedback, analytics, iteration, and A/B testing.
- Own and expand the Figma design system, including components, patterns, documentation, and style guidelines.
- Establish UX quality standards and ensure consistency across products.
- Mentor designers through coaching, design critiques, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout discovery, design, handoff, and implementation.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, asset creation, UX writing, analysis, and repetitive tasks.
- Promote the responsible and ethical use of AI while exploring opportunities for innovation and personalization.
- 5+ years of product design experience, preferably with complex SaaS, B2B, or web applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user research, UX strategy, interface design, prototyping, and measurable product outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including scalable components and design systems.
- Deep understanding of discovery, user journeys, information architecture, interaction design, and usability.
- Proven ability to turn complex requirements and qualitative or quantitative data into simple, effective solutions.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring designers and leading design critiques.
- Familiarity with Jira, Monday.com, Aha!, Trello, or similar product-management tools.
- Google UX Design or Interaction Design Foundation certification is preferred.
- Audit and expand the Figma design system within six months, achieving 90% component coverage for new features and full adoption by the design team.
- Improve the design-to-development handoff by the end of Q2, reducing design cycle time by 20% and design-related QA tickets by 15%.
