We are a growing U.S.-based medical practice looking for a strong, hands-on Remote Team Manager to lead and organize our remote team. This is a high-accountability role for someone who takes ownership, drives daily execution, and holds a team to a high standard. If you're a natural organizer who follows through relentlessly and can keep a distributed team on track, we want to hear from you.
- Organize and coordinate the remote team — assign tasks, set priorities, and make sure work gets done on time.
- Run daily follow-ups and check-ins to track progress, remove blockers, and keep everyone accountable.
- Monitor quality by randomly reviewing and listening to recorded phone calls, giving feedback and coaching where needed.
- Track team performance and productivity, and report results and issues to leadership.
- Build and maintain simple processes, schedules, and standards that keep the team running smoothly.
- Handle escalations and step in quickly when something needs attention.
- Jump on patient calls as needed to cover volume, support the team, and keep service running smoothly.
- Proven experience managing a remote team (2+ years preferred).
- Prior medical receptionist experience is required, along with hands-on experience handling calls in a medical office.
- Willing and able to jump on patient calls as needed.
- Strong leadership, organization, and follow-through — you don't let things slip.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Comfortable with QA and call monitoring, and giving constructive feedback.
- Experience with productivity/time-tracking tools (Hubstaff a plus) and task management software.
- Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet work environment, and availability during U.S. business hours.
- Bonus: experience in healthcare, medical billing/credentialing, or a call-center environment.
- You'll take real ownership of a remote team and have a direct impact on how well the operation runs. We value dependable people who lead by example and get results.
